Okay... so get this. I weighed myself this morning at like 5am and was down to my new low! YAY! I then went back to sleep for 3 hours, got up for real and then went to weight myself... down another POUND!! WTH?! I mean I'm glad but that's just way weird to me. I'm not recording it cause I figure its a fluke... WHAT IS GOING ON?!

That happens to me a too. I have it down to a science. I have found that when I stand on the scale at night before I go to bed. I weigh exactly 2 lbs less in the morning when I step onto the scale. Your normal body functions affect your weight plus movement when you are on the scale. Plus, as you go to bed, your body is digesting your food from yesterday and the day before which causes fluctuations too.

i always stick with the higher weight because when if the scale hasn't moved much the next day, I know that I've still lost some more weight! Hope this helps! I

I've been analyzing my scale for months and found a similar trend. Late at night, it has a higher value then the very next morning where it can be 1-2 pounds less. I thought it had to do with the moon's gravity hehehhe.... I've been told that the warm feeling you get during the sleep process or when you wake up, reflects the body processing and burning calories during the sleep process. An athlete I know started eating late at night and would wake up in the middle of the night with sweat - his doctors told him it was the same sleep process burning calories vs. storing based on his high metabolism. He adjusted and it stopped... Anyway, that's the theory and trend I've been sticking with and appears to be consistient. Net net, way at the same time and a few times a week, otherwise it will drive you nuts like me :P

Your scale is not haunted, it is just EVIL. It lies to you! Step away from the scale.....You can do it....slowly back away from the evil scale and all will be good.
