Its annoying, but you cna just figure out a straegy to deal with it. I deal with mine by:
1 Moderating.
2. I try and save them till the end of the day and use spare calories.
3. I try to avoid absent minded eating becayse they are there or im bored.
4. Look for lower calorie alternatives that last longer or give you the benefits without doing as much damage calories wise. Hard candy, sugar free or diet versions.
5. You may need to remove them from the house.
6. I try and move more by going for wlaks or burning extra calories at the gym.
7. Eat them slowly. Put chcolate in the fridge so its hard.
8. Eat a piece of fruit instead.0 -
Thank you so much for info..It is hard gotta get focused I think0

Its hard without knowing more details, but there are things you can do, balanced against just getting your act together.
Its probably easiest to just moderate them rather than banning them completely. Upi will see many people who ban them completely end up bingeing. You will just have to try various methods and see which one works for you. 200-250 calories is a chocolate bar or 50g of sweets. Take it in your stride, dont beat up on yourself and dont demonise them. Its just another aspect of your weight loss plan to deal with.0 -
Pretty much every night I eat some kind of dessert. Low fat ice cream, Cadbury chocolate squares, or a chocolate protein bar. I don't feel the need to really eat sweets elsewhere in the day. I don't really have the calories to spare and I am going to get some anyway, so might as well wait.0

Portion control ideas:
Buy smaller or single serving treats. Not the whole gallon of ice cream. Even if it's on sale LOL
If you have a larger portion of something – share it! This means smaller portions for everyone and a good social feeling to go with the treat.
Portion out treats into snack bags and write the calorie amount on the bag. Build it into your daily allowance.
Freeze portions of cake, muffins, brownies, quick breads… so it’s harder to just pick up and eat.
Make your own treats so you can control the ingredients. I like to make my own hot cocoa with extra cocoa powder and less sugar. I was pleasantly surprised how low the calories were for such an awesome treat!
Mix the sugary treat in with protein and fat – dark chocolate chips with nuts and seeds. Your favorite jam with plain greek yogurt. Fruit and cheese.
If you get highs and lows from sugar easily – eat it with a meal not as a stand alone snack.

I usually don't keep them in the house. I buy single serve portions when I want them, so then I eat it and there's no more.
These days my sweets have been replaced with fruit and honey though.... I LOVE fruit with honey...0
