Those things have an expiration date (sweetener loses sweetness), so if you want to maximize your experience, make sure you get one with a date as far into the future as you an find.

    I prefer to make my own at the drink machines. Always fresh!

    what if the sweetener is out of date in the fountain? you have no way of knowing...(and trust me, I've drunk some skunky coke zero out of a tap before).

    It's like fresh produce... I don't buy anything prepackaged and over processed. The machine mixes it fresh right there and I'm avoiding those nasty preservatives that cause cancer. YUK!
