Always be honest with the calorie count (if you lie to the app, you're lying to yourself!) and try to be as accurate as possible. I have a 1500 calorie goal, and I try to keep at least a 100 cal buffer to make up for inaccuracies and sudden impulses.0

make a bunch of small obtainable goals0

log your food. this is 90% nutrition, so get yourself a proper food scale and some good measuring cups and spoons if you don't have some already. measure everything.0

take it one day at a time. ...until you're ready to start prelogging, then take it a day or two (or more) at a time.0
