I really need a friend

I really need someone to talk to when I feel down. Otherwise, I just eat. All of my friends just tell me to suck it up or stop being a debby downer. My boyfriend is the only supportive one but he works a lot, so I can't always get ahold of him.. Anyone like to help?

I've found that prayer helps me and positive thinking. Can you find something else to do than eat when you're emotional? I usually work out twice on those days and leave all that energy at the gym.0

My boyfriend is the only one i seem to have too! All my friends know im trying to lose weight but they are never supportive. They are always saying 'you can stop for a day' trying to make me eat chips and fast food! Its got to the point to where i avoid them at lunch.0

My first question is (and please don't be offended) are you down because you're frustrated with the process of losing weight and exercising or are you depressed?
If you are down because you're frustrated, I would look into finding people from MFP in your local area, join a walking club or gym, if you're an emotional eater, I would recommend looking into Overeaters Anonymous. Try to find people you can see in person to help you on your fitness journey.
If you are depressed there are additional factors to work with and you may need more than just a friend in your corner (whether you believe in faith based option, medical help, eastern medicine, therapists etc to help you with depression).
