I'm on a basically low carbs some what high protein diet.
I do less then 30 mins of mostly strength exercises in the morning (crunches, squats, wall sits, planks, push ups etc..)
I don't drink protein shakes or anything but will having more protein in my diet make me gain weight if I'm not exercising that much?
Thanks in advance

    Calorie deficit for weight loss.

If the amount of protein puts you over your maintenance cals, youll gain. Otherwise youre fine

Short answer: No. As long as you don't exceed your calorie ceiling and since your cutting (I assume) its very difficult to add muscle. Shame that. Stupid physics.
  • Thanks I have had a few people tell me that since I'm not working out that much that instead of the protein turning to muscle it will turn to fat. I had never heard that before and I wanted to clarify

Protein can't turn into fat or muscle. It simply aids in the repairing of muscle.

    Best of luck!
