These are delicious! You can barely tell that they are low in fat and calories. (151 calories and 2g fat to be exact!)

Ingredients:
- 1/2 scoop vanilla whey protein powder
- 2 Tbsp skim milk (water or vegan substitutes would also work fine)
- 2 egg whites
- 2 slices low calorie bread (35 calories a slice, 70 calories for 2)

Directions:
1. Heat an electric griddle to 400 degrees or a pan on the stove to medium-high heat.
2. In a shallow bowl combine the protein powder and skim milk.
3. Add the 2 egg whites and beat until completely mixed (approximately 2 minutes).
4. Coat both sides of the bread in the shallow bowl (I let mine sit for 15 sec to soak up more protein)
5. Place the coated bread on a sprayed or nonstick cooking surface and cook until done (about 4 minutes).
6. Enjoy!

Here are some additional toppings that I came up with:
- Blueberries
- Bananas and blueberries
- Bananas and peanut butter (maybe even some maple syrup)
- Apple slices and applesauce (cinnamon!)
- Peach slices
- Sugar free/Low calorie syrup
- Honey or agave nectar
- Almond butter
- Whipped topping (Low cal of course...)
- Sliced almonds or granola for a crunchy topping with greek yogurt
- Make it a sandwich with peanut butter and jelly/bananas in between
- 100% fruit spread
- Nutella and bananas

I topped mine with 1/4 cup of fresh blueberries and had 100 calories of whole almonds on the side for nutrition facts of:

272 calories
27g carbs
9g fiber
7g sugar
11 g fat
23g protein
256mg sodium
21% Iron

Here are the facts for just the french toast free of add-ons: (Only 2/3 of topping because that's all it would soak up)
151 calories
18g carbs
6g fiber
3g sugar
2g fat
19g protein
256mg sodium
19g protein

Let me know if you tried it, liked it and what you added on top
