Hi Everyone! Looking for some encouragement as I try to shed 45 lbs. I just gave birth to our second child and need to lose the baby weight plus some extra lbs I was hanging on to prior to getting pregnant. My extra incentive is that I had gestational diabetes during both pregnancies so I have a higher chance of becoming diabetic if I don't lose weight, eat properly, and exercise regularly. Managing my diabetes during pregnancy was so hard that I can't imagine doing it for a lifetime!
Good luck to everyone out there trying to make their lives better and healthier!

I also just had a baby 3 months ago, my second as well. C-sections both times and I have about 50 pounds to my goal. I fortionately did not have any diabetes problems but I did gain an excessive amount of weight with both pregnancies, good thing they were pretty far apart. Anyways I know how hard it is to lose. So congrats on the baby and good luck with your weight loss. I'm sure you are told this too but it took 9 months to get there it's natural to take 9 months to get it off. Logical but hard to accept sometimes0
