Hi everyone! I'm about 8 months in to MFP and I must say it's been so helpful in getting me towards my fitness goals. I started in August with my eating habits first, tracking what I ate daily and making good choices. Once my diet was in control I started a winter workout schedule right around Christmas. Other than walking the dogs, I wasn't doing much else except working. I started with Jillian Michaels' 30 Day Shred 3-4 days a week. I could barely make it through 20 minutes with her at first! Then I added her Ripped in 30, alternating 4-5 days a week. Happy to say I've worked my way up to Shaun T's Focus T25! I'm wrapping up my second week and I actually like it!! I'm one pound short of my 20-pound loss goal... any day now! LOL

Side note: my husband and I are in it together and I truly believe neither of us would be where we are now without each other's motivation.

    Oh, and I do eat (homemade) pizza just about every week, chocolate every day, and ice cream a few days a week! It is possible to lose and not have to deny/deprive yourself. It's about control (self- and portion) and a desire to change, even at 45 years.
