So, I've lost bout 100 lbs. I'd still like to lose another 40. I joined a gym beginning of the year, and up until about two weeks ago mainly did cardio. I've started with weights, and am mostly pleased with results. However my torso is my real problem child. I feel like it is isn't proportionate to the rest of my body. For lack of better terms, fluffy. Busted can of biscuit status. I know you can't really spot reduce, but suggestions would be great!

You said it. You can't spot reduce. The weight falls off where it wants to.

    Lift more.

    You need a total body/core, strengthening/cardio routine. Here's your solution: https://www.youtube.com/embed/videoseries?list=PL02FA2D8699495237

Start slow. Choose 6-8 routines that hit upper and lower body. 1-3 sets, low reps (~6). Work your way up to more routines, sets and reps. Be careful, killer body ahead. B)

Lift. A basic, full-body, compound lifting program (New Rules of Lifting For Women, strong lifts, etc.). As you continue to lose weight, and maintain muscle mass, you’ll get more proportionate (but we all have those spots where we lose the fat last.

With 40 lbs left to go, it's really a matter of losing more fat. Keep working on that and stick with the exercise you're doing. It'll come along eventually. Great work on 100 lbs lost by the way!
