This ankle is annoying me. Can't get my heart rate up very high on the stationary bike or the sitting elliptical machine, but guess I should be happy that I'm allowed to workout at all.

Shouldn't have done it, but really felt like I just didn't get enough exercise in today at the gym, so walked briskly to store which was 1.3 miles. Now I'll go ice the ankle.

**that's my longest day of walking so far this year** ... and on the evening portion of the walk, my husband and I tried a trail near our home that we haven't tried before. We discovered a small beach we didn't know was there, and a reserve full of pademelons.

Been off work since wednesday but mostly been doing house work Had a nice ride on the trails friday to watch the eclipse, manageing to get air on the jumps again Picked up the vivoactice so now getting steps (walking 9miles aday????) Got out for my first proper run in over a month only a 5k but consistant and no pain. Last week 122.2 On the bike 24 for walking/run

jahmanrv if you have a joint niggle and "cant" rest try and stick to the bike or elliptical as the impact is low/none

Jahmanrv, def gonna recommend that you let that ankle heal properly. We'd hate to see you have another set-back. And having said that, most of us know what it's like to just want to GET UP AND MOVE!

jesiann is correct in that we MUST let things heal. I know exactly how that feels since my neck/shoulder injury and set back in Dec, Jan and trying too get back in Feb. I wanted so desperately too do more BUT it could not be done. Even now I am still unable too do the back exercises and sit ups because my neck is still bothering me some...I AM STILL BLESSED I can walk, walk/run combos, Exercise Bike and a couple days a week I walk with 10 pound weights on....
Will log my progress late evening for todays journey.....
