Lost weight and now nauseous all the time

I have lost about 10#s over the past two and half weeks just by cutting back what I eat and eating a lot more healthy. Now I am nauseous all the time and have to force myself to drink or eat anything. Should I contact my doctor or just wait it out to see if my body is just trying to adjust?

Is there a possibility you are pregnant?
I wouldn't think weight loss would cause one to be nauseated. It could be something else. Stomach virus, pregnancy, etc.0 -
No, not pregnant. Maybe I have just caught a bug. I just wanted a few other opinions.0

How much are you eating? I feel nauseous if I don't eat enough or my blood sugar gets very low.0

I am struggling to get to 1100, my doctor wanted me to aim for 1400-1600.
It almost seems like a vicious cycle. It seems like I am sick because I don't eat, but I don't eat because I am sick.0 -
Personally I think I would feel a bit nauseous on under 1100, particularly if I was exercising.
Try and eat plain foods that you can stomach - dry toast etc. Don't worry too much about it being the 'perfect' choice. You might find with a bit more fuel in the tank you stop feeling nauseous and are then able to eat a more balanced diet and more food in general.0 -
I have been there when I was young. You need to eat. I found hot chocolate and ice cream helped me get my cals up. After a week or so I had a healthy apatite again and was able to eat wholesome foods. For now just get the cals in.0

Ten pounds in two and a half weeks is a lot of weight to lose. Try to settle at that amount (or a bit less) per month. Focus on good nutrition as you lose. Eat more, enjoy what you eat, and I hope you feel better soon.0

Thank you everybody. I promise I am not on a crash diet or starving myself. I was tremendously overeating and decided that I had to get myself under control. My doctor recommended 14-1600 calories a day. I worked very hard and was able to to stay in the 1600 and under range.
Due to tendonitis in both feet I have not been able to work out much this month while trying to give it time to heal. The first of the month I will be able to get back into boxing.
I guess I will take my husbands advice and just concentrate on eating tiny snacks all throughout the day instead of trying to force my calories for lunch and dinner.
It's 2:20 pm my time and the only thing I have been able to stomach so far today is 15 grams of Special K chip crackers. So I am not doing too well.0
