Not happy with myself, I'm hungry all the time but want to do this for myself...
    Anyone else like this?
  • Man I just think it's a matter of working out regularly, a lot of cardio & I mean ALOT. I lost like 3 pounds in 2 days just doing straight cardio. & chicken is good grilled or baked cus it's high in protein & when I get to craving I try to get veggies like celery or corn it helps really

I'm 45, 5'1" and in August I weighed 135. When I started using MFP then I was aiming for about 1250-1300 calories. I wasn't doing much for exercise other than walking my dogs, I wanted to regulate my food intake first. I did lose about 10 pounds by Christmas. Then for the winter I started doing HIIT (high intensity interval training) for about 20 min/day 4-5 days/week. Recently I stepped it up to T25 6 days/week (2 weeks in). Since Christmas I've lost almost another 10. As I dropped pounds and increased my exercise I did up my calorie intake... to 1350, 1420 and now I'm around 1500 to maintain.

What are you doing for exercise? What are your main sources of protein and typical meals like?

Hopefully staying connected here helps your motivation... try to stay positive and look towards the you that you want to be!

If you can, mix in some light strength training with your cardio. You can build some muscle while burning more calories.
