My Journey So Far

Starting weight 218, Down to 179! It's been a long journey so far. Still got another 20 to lose but finally feeling comfortable in my skin again. After lots of times failing to lose weight and only managing to gain, I finally got to the point where I couldn't bend over to tie my shoes anymore and it really scared me. I'm very happy with my success so far. Good luck to everyone! Best advice I have is don't get in your own way! Don't allow yourself to talk you out of achieving what you want. :)

    Thank you so much for the positive feedback!! My biggest hurdle was working through night time binge eating and forgiving myself for indulging every once in a while. I split my calories up so that I'd have the most calories for the end of the day so if I wanted an extra snack it wouldn't ruin my whole day (or make me feel that way). Things I wasn't ready to give up I didn't. I've basically had a bottle of code red everyday since I started. But only one and I drank water the rest of the day. I am currently working towards giving that up. I started forcing myself to eat more veggies. Not really in place of anything at first but it kinda morphed into that. I didn't do anything amazing really. Just kept with it and took it a step at a time and stayed within or close to my limits. :)
