To all the people out there with this program what do you think about it? How do you go about getting a pull up bar? Also what do you do when the 90 days is up? Do you make up your own program or what? i live in an apt so where could I put my pull up bar? In a doorway? I hate to sound so ignorant about this but I want it I also wanted an elliptical and a malibu pilates chair so what I don't want to do is waste money. I need to drop at least 40-45 lbs. I don't want a whole new wardrobe I want the one I spent $2000.00 on. Now it sits in boxes collecting dust. Plus I start college next month and I want to look good asap. So anyone with any info that could help please give it to me. Thanks April

    Hi April,

Did you all ready buy the X? I ask because I tried the X to lose 30 lbs and it didn't happen for me. But your story can be different.

As far as a pull up bar, I used the total gym. It hooks onto the door with no drilling or screws. My husband uses it too and he loves it.

Good luck to you with the X.

Good for you on getting the P90X. By all means go for it! It is challenging and fun, never boring! I love it. I am in my 4th week of it. I have done all of Jillians tapes along with my wife. I have lost about 65 pounds since last March/April. If I can do it you can! I am 55 years old!

Also, congrats on going to college! You have a lot on your plate but it sounds like you have a great plan!

On the P90X you will lose weight if you watch your diet. But even if you have to buy clothes, good for you!
You will live longer and better to enjoy them!

Do your best and forget the rest!

I did not lose weight using P90X (although I still LOVE IT)...
You CAN lose weight doing it and following the food guide (which I didnt).

The thing to remember P90X isn't exactly a weight loss program, it's more about increasing fitness and flexibility, which it did for me.
I am going a different route currently but fully intend on going back for more of P90X when I get some more of the fat off.
