Hey there all!

Any 29-year-olds out there who want to get their butts in shape by 30? I currently have 6.5 months and have 46 lbs to lose! I need all the help I can get, so I figured I'd reach out to all my 29ers and see how many of us can kick 30 right in the patoot!

I'll be 30 in August and have 2 kids. I am hoping that by my beach vacation in July I will have dropped the last 15 lbs and have a flat tummy again!!!

Good luck! YOU CAN DO IT!

You can do it! I am not *quite* at the HOT place yet, but I just turned 30 in March and definitely in better shape than I have even been in my adult life. I weight easily 30lbs less than I ever had, and 70lbs less than when I started this journey 2 yrs ago. So you can do it.

I personally feel much sexier and much younger at 30 than I ever have. Good luck!

I'll be 30 in July. I started MFP about 10 weeks ago. I started out at 240 and as of this morning I am 221.2!! I weighed 225 when I got pregnant for my son 6 years ago. I have NEVER lost weight, so this feels so empowering! I feel a lot healthier but I have a LONG way to go. It took me 29 years to get to this point, but I want to spend my next 29 reversing that!
Cheers to a healthier life ahead of us!

I want to be hot by 30 (August). I would like to lose 15 more pounds and have a more toned look. My daughter just turned 1 last month and I just reached my pre-pregnancy weight 2 weeks ago. Since joining MFP I have been eating healthier and exercising more, all life changes that needed to be made. My ultimate goal is to be a hot mama forever so by the time I reach 40 I can say, "Still hot at 40".

I'm in that boat too! 17 lbs down, but shooting for another 23. I only have another 3 months (yikes!), so I'll just be happy to be back in the 160s. Even if that is 169.9! So, that'll give me only! another 13 and change to go.
  • Wow, what a response! Awesome! So many of us out there who want to be fit and we enter into the age where people will finally start to take us seriously! Well, if we want to be taken seriously that is. Awesome! Keep it up everyone! Let's help each other get past our struggles.

I'm turning 30 on December 5th:noway: I am in , I need to lose a few more lbs and put on some muscle. Running my first 5k (with obstacles!!!) May 28th, so that's a start. I am so not a runner, either, but it looks like so much fun.

    Ha!

That's the reason why I'm here! The majority of my 20's were just a blur of endless calories and alcohol. Needless to say, I'm working on changing that! haha, great post topic. :)

I'll be 30 at the end of October! So many things I want to do and accomplish before then.
  • How is everyone doing? My journey is going okay, but was derailed slightly by a vacation where my son would not settle in. It only took a week and a half after we got home to get him back to sorts. Ugh. We're finally back to naps (he's 5 months old) and actually going down for sleep at a decent time at night! I find I get thrown off so much when he's off. Anyways, back on the wagon!!

I know I'm not going to hit my original goal of 40 lbs gone is 6 months, but I think that was a little high for me to realistically hit. I have 7 weeks left before my birthday and I'm down 21 lbs. :) Even though I was horrible this weekend, my idea of horrible from now and from before have changed, so I actually still lost weight last week, albeit 0.4 lbs...

Journey is still going well though. Running 3-4 miles 3-4x a week. Running with a running group now every Thursday I'm in town. Down a pant size. 4 lbs away from being back in the normal weight range!

Glad you're back on the wagon Courtney! It is nice to jump off of it every once and a while though, especially because its much easier to get back on that it used to be. :)
  • Just checking in with everyone! How is it going? I've been on track all week and have been feeling pretty darn good! Can anyone suggest what to do when you go out to a restaurant and can't find nutrition information anywhere (not on the website, etc)? I ate out for lunch yesterday and did the best I could at logging the info, but I'm sure I'm off at least a little.

I use another resturants food or "homemade" in the database... an estimation is better than nothing!?!
  • How's it going, folks? I'm still plodding along!

I am slowly losing at 1 pound a week... but slow and steady finishes the race has always been my motto.

Plus this way I KNOW I will keep it off for good!!!!!:flowerforyou: :drinker:
