As a lot of us may be new to making healthier food choices, I thought I'd start a hit or miss thread.

So the question is - what healthier choice food products have you found that actually taste as good as (if not better!) than their fat and calorie laden counterparts?

Also, what low fat, low calorie food products have you tried that you wouldn't let your dog eat?

Give us your Hits and Misses, please.

    I'll go first.

HIT - Opa Greek Style Yogurt Salad Dressing. I'm in love with the Ranch flavor. I actually like it a lot better than the full fat and calorie ranch dressings I used to use! Truly a wonderful product.

MISS - Fat-free cheese of any description. Nasty, nasty stuff. Pretty sure it's one chemical component away from either rubber or plastic.

HIT- Flat out wraps. I love regular bread so much and find these so yummy for wraps and pizza for 100cals. MISS- I second the cheese. Just no.

Hit: Cauliflower for rice/grits. Plain greek yogurt instead of sour cream.

Miss: Low fat yogurt... ew. Tastes like Splenda , yuck.

Did a search on these and they are available here in Canada, too. I'm definitely going to put these on my shopping list. Thanks!

    I agree!

I do find that the Hellmann's 1/2 the fat mayo is actually pretty good, especially if you use it in an already flavorful dish like tuna salad. My family couldn't tell the difference.
