don't give up, nobody is perfect. everyone makes mistakes. great job on being under your first day. keep up the good work. you've made the first step on a path to a better you, find your core motivation, hold onto for dear life and run with it. find something that works for you, then once you start seeing results use that boost in motivation to step it up a notch and hone in on your ideal fitness plan. for me it is an hour of walking in the morning, 20-30 minutes of running at lunch and an hour or so of weights in the evening. i was NOOOOOO where near able to consider doing that in the beginning though. first i started off eating right, then i start to shed, then i started to walk a littl bit, then as i lost more i added a litt bit of weights, and progressed from there. its not a race to your ideal weight, it's a long term improvement of your total fitness level and lifestyle choices.0

Hi and welcome to MFP! Tips I have would be to be sure to drink your 8 glasses of water a day. Also you can go into your settings and also track sodium and sugar. When I first joined I didn't know I could track these also then read about how too much sodium can cause water retention which = weight gain, and too much sugar will turn to fat. It's amazing how much sodium is in certain foods so keeping an eye on it is a good idea. Now I buy lower sod. soup and try to stay away from the higher sodium skillet meals.
hmmm what else? Just try to exercise at least 30 minutes a day even if it's just a walk. And I've read that you should eat most of your exercise calories back too or your body may go into starvation mode and then you won't be losing any weight.
This system works...just log everything you eat and try to stay around your calorie goal. Great job staying under your calorie goal for today!! Good luck on your weight loss journey!

ok so maybe I shouldn't say it because I don't track it but tracking your sodium and your sugar (which I do track) are big helps! both of these can cause you to not loose weight even when you are staying under on your calories. The site is pretty user friendly and there are lots of great people on here if you need or want support! Good luck with everything!!0
