Baltimore bike riding

Ha - I live in Baltimore, sort of near Druid Hill. I wouldn't recommend it during the night or very early, its not exactly the best area, and its right near even worse areas. I've never been in the park, but I can't imagine its kept up well, might not be the best terrain for bike riding. I'm always pretty leery of this area, though. I don't even leave if its dark out and my boyfriend isn't home
