Hello! I am 5'6" 22 years old and starting at 196. I used MFP before and lost about 50 lbs! My lowest weight was 165 and my highest weight was 220! Long story short I started nursing school for practical nursing and gained it all back. I just got accepted back for my RN degree and I desperately need to lose this weight before the program and keep it off during! So I need friends to keep me motivated and see other successful stories! Please share recipes and tips/snacks to help me remember how I did this before! Working out isn't my problem I workout 5-6 days a week and go to an intense fitness class at the gym 3 times a week, run the other days! Thanks so much in advanced!

196 really? I don't see it. I just started this too in Feb 17. Got a fit bit but was not happy with how cumbersome their food tracking was so I looked at MFP and haven't used anything else. I started at 175 and now at 169 ish... goal is 165.

For now just watching what I eat, trying to stay within the daily calories. Not really exercising yet. Its cccccold where I am. I want to see how far just watching what I eat takes me then gradually add exercise.

Why am i doing this? To feel and look good with the least amount of effort :)

Yes, 196! My family says they can't tell but that scale crushes my dreams lol. I wish I could go by off of what I eat to lose weight and not workout but I need any extra help I can get! I use a polar ft4 watch for my calories during working out and a vivo fitbit for walking! Good luck!!
