for the last few weeks I feel so full & bloated. Also heartburn/reflux. Like today-toast pb with coffee at 7 am. Then for lunch baked potato & cottage cheese. I am STILL full.

Go to the doctor. It could be any number of things, some serious, so you need to get it checked out.

    What did your doctor say?

Not to scare you, but bloating and fullness like that can be a sign of serious issues, like ovarian cancer. Like I said, I would get it checked, and if they rule out anything serious, then try some alternative things. Those kind of symptoms I wouldn't let go on too long though without being checked.

I would be seeking my physician, asap.
  • Hi SassyJewell, I've been having this issue on and off for years.... I, too, would recommend seeing a GI specialist or OB-GYN. I actually found out I had uterine fibroids which can make you bloated to the point where you physically appear 6-9 months pregnant. It took several visits for them to identify this and I've spent years being told I was just being 'dramatic' - very untrue as physical appearances don't lie. I am a healthy 26 year old woman - one who is typically 140 lbs - until this issue came along. I couldn't figure how I was gaining weight yet always felt full. Listen to your fellow fitness pals and have a professional check it out. It's not something to postpone. Best of luck!

Yea a doctor would be good.

No. A doctor would be good no matter what.

Sassyjewell - did you get in to see your PCP yet? I am having this same issue, got referred to a gastro doc but can't get in until the 19th. I'm going back to my PCP today because I can't stand feeling like this any longer (it's been weeks now). Just curious to see what your doctor said.
