I am a huge fan of the author Tess Gerritsen. She is a fantastic writer. I am looking for writing similar to hers. Any suggestions for a good novel or series?

Patricia Cornwell and Kathy Reichs both are excellent writers and have top notch series. Patricia Cornwell's main character is a pathologist and Kathy Reichs' main character is an anthropologist (the tv series Bones is based on Kathy Reichs' character Temperance Brennan, but it has no other connection to the series itself.)

I love Bones, so I bet I would really enjoy those books. I have heard Patricia is excellent.

I was reading Kathy Reichs before the tv show came out, so I'm partial to the books. If you like mystery/adventure type series (I'm also a fan of archeological/mythological mysteries) check out Charles Brokaw, Paul Christopher, David Gibbins, David Golemon, David Leadbeater, Gregg Loomis, Tom Knox, Andy McDermott, Christopher David Petersen, Douglas Preston/Lincoln Childs, Jeremy Robinson, and James Rollins. They all have good series that fall in the mystery/thriller/adventure category

I second Patricia Cornwall. Definitely read Postmortem, it's one of her best. I'm also a massive fan of Tess Gerritsen. I'm reading Body Double at the moment.
