Hi all!
I've been working this site for the last week or so. A friend recommended it to me and I have to say WOW about the database of foods! It's the best I've seen!

I'm working through the book "Reverse Diabetes" and that is indeed my goal. Losing the weight to lose the diabetic complications. Anyone else working this angle? I am NOT dieting. I refuse to do that any longer and it appears that I'm on the right trail for weight loss and health by adopting that statement.

I'm 46 and I refuse to believe that it's only gets harder to lose weight. I know what I haven't tried and well it's the one way that DIETS don't want us to pursue; eat more veggies, less calories and more activity. I do stumble ALOT and after reading a couple of posts I will check out the forums daily.

    Welcome aboard. Looks like we are in a similar situtation. I have type 2 diabetes and would love to reverse it. Have been struggling with losing weight for a while. Friend me if you would like to. Good luck
