Night eating

so I'm gonna put myself out there. I have a huge problem with night eating; especially with quest bars throughout the night. They are such a trigger food, and I go through 5-6 every night. I've finished my stash, and don't plan on replenishing, but I could really use the support to attempt to get this terrible habit out of my system. Does anyone else have a problem with night eating, and how did you go about fixing it?

    Try to pinpoint the reason you are eating. Are you just bored? Find something to keep you occupied. If you are legitimately hungry maybe you need to change up your meal timing so you are eating dinner later in the evening. How is your calorie goal, are you being too restrictive throughout the day and that is causing you to throw in the towel at night? I was a big boredom and emotional eater when I started. I still sometimes have to say "no your not actually hungry your just bored so go do something" or "you just want to eat because your upset, how is eating really going to fix this situation".

    I might be restricting throughout the day cause I have the mindset of "I know nighttime is my downfall", but, as embarrassing as this is to say, I'm nervous to up what I eat during the day in case my nighttime problem in fact does happen.

    I am normally not very hungry in the a.m. I start eating at noon and most of my calories go to lunch/Big dinner and snacks, I have a major problem with night eating as well. That's ok there are many many ways you can lose weight, just choose what works best for you, just make sure you get your macros and vitamins and minerals.
