I can't seem to stick to a "schedule"

I seem to have trouble with regimine type workouts. Especially since I almost always excercise alone. Anyone else out there rebel against the system and excercise willy nilly? How is it working for you? Maybe I should dig deeper and find more discipline.

I've found that if I don't discipline myself to stick with a schedule I tend to put things off completely. Of course, after a few weeks of forcing myself to stick with a schedule, it became a habit and now it's hard for me to give up my training schedule.0

You should do something that is fun for you and maybe doesn't feel so much like exercise. Maybe find a friend to workout with you and to motivate you. You shouldn't do the same workout everyday for weeks at a time, it will cause you to hit a plateau because your body won't be challenged anymore. Switch up your workouts so you (and your body) don't get bored.0

I do that a lot. I switch between walking and bike riding a lot. But i get really bored with work out videos and such. that is when I wish gym membership were feasable for me. I would do it in a class. Unfortunately its just not in the budget right now.0 -
Lol, I hate workout videos too, if it's between a workout video and the couch, the couch always wins. There is a gym where I live that only offers classes and you can go to any class for $5 per session. Maybe there is something similar where you live?0

I can say that I don't have a set schedule for when I workout due to my work schedule is always different. I just have it set in my mind that I will do a workout sometime in the day and I do it. I guess it's just something that sticks with you. Good luck!0
