Really struggling!

Hi all, I'm sure there's plenty of people feeling the same, I just feel useless. Finding it so difficult to stick to diet! I've lost 3lbs but have such a love/hate relationship with food! So desperate to loose weight and feel comfortable in my own skin! Feel free to add me for motivation and support! Xx

I've been there with the love-hate relationship with food. I can honestly say that these past two and a half months I've been on MFP have been the most successful I've ever been at dieting, and I can attribute that to having changed my entire outlook towards food. I had to realize that food is not the enemy, and there's no such thing as "bad" food. Now I am just focusing on eating what I want, as long as it fits my calorie goal. Take guilt out of the equation and remain positive. Good luck!0

I absolutely second what Mindy said
It is the toughest in the beginning to stay motivated but you have to just be patient. My struggle with weight loss was always because I lacked patience. I'm the most successful now because I decided not to weigh in at all for the first few months and just solely go by the size of my jeans. The scale can be your worst enemy.
Make a vision board or if you are on social media, follow motivating accounts so when you're feeling like your about to splurge on treats, one look at those accounts will help you power through the temptation.

I know... it's really really really hard. This is coming from someone whose favorite foods are movie theater popcorn and pepperoni pizza. What I've found that helps is filling my apartment with replacement foods that I still really enjoy, like pickles or unbuttered popcorn. Even just not having the bad foods in my vicinity helps me a lot. Now, if I could just block the Dominos web site from my computer, we'd be golden....0

This is hard, but also soo worth it! You can do this, and there's no need to hate food, only measure it... Hang in there, stick to your goals and you'll be able to accomplish so much! Feel free to add me if you want.0
