How concerned should I be about Sodium?

MFP has really opened my eyes to the amount of Sodium in even basic foods. 2 Medium stalks of raw celery has 64 grams! I am careful of the Sodium levels in my foods and try to stick with low or no Sodium selections but still seem to end up either right at my Sodium goal or even over.

keep it under 2000 mg unless you have high blood pressure or heart issues I wouldn't worry about it. If your over 50 lower it to 15000

I blow my sodium goal away almost every day.
Really depends on the person I guess....Medical issues, age, activity level, water intake. etc.0 -
I don't have any medical issues and I am in my early 30s; I exercise twice a day and drink a lot of water. It is alarming to see the RED numbers at the bottom of your food log.0
