"fixing" comfort foods

I just made myself some vegan mac and cheese. I usually end up throwing half a package of faux cheese but this time I did the suggested serving size(1/4 cup), some nutritional yeast and lemon juice. Tasted just as good. To top it off, I threw in 2 cups of fresh spinach and it was wonderful. I always use whole wheat pasta. I like the texture better.

It got me thinking about some of the other comfort foods I enjoy a lot and was wondering about ways to fix them too. What do you do?

I'm a chocolate addict, so when I get chocolate cravings, I make up fondue and dip fruit in it :)
