Has anyone used it before? Is it legit? I'm thinking about doing the 4 week challenge with some of the contestants from the biggest loser that's starting April 1st.

Yes, it's legit. I did one run by a former biggest loser competitor as well, and got my money back plus $12.

I've done 3 and got my money back plus about $40. It's legit.

I did a six month one that pushed me past my weight loss goal. I won about $300.

I've done it thrice. It was fun! And definitely legit. Got paid to shed a few pounds, can't complain. :D

ETA: I'm doing http://www.dietbet.com/games/64523/activity currently, in case anybody's interested. Starts on April 1st.

Yes it's legit. I've won about $1000 in gross winnings last year (about $400 net) but mileage may vary. I just happened to join lucky games. 6 month games make the best money overall because many people quit halfway.

Yes, I did it once about two years ago. I won, but I found it to be a very stressful month. I haven't done it again. There were fewer options at the time, though. Glad to hear they have longer timeline available now.

Less than half of my group was eligible for the final pot because they didn't meet the milestone to get there. And the final pot is half the money pledged overall. At least it was a year ago when I started.

I have done a lot of research on motivation in connection with working with at-risk students. External motivation can be a quick short-term solution, but it often damages internal motivation. I'd be interested to see how participation in these kinds of things affects a person down the road.

I realized it would be way too easy for me to fudge my start number (although I wouldn't because I'm not a cheater) it just makes me think that other people can and would cheat. I don't trust the fidelity of their "anti cheat" system enough.
