5'8 and Goal Weights

Hi, everyone! I am 23 years old, almost 5'8" tall and 154 lbs. My goal weight is to be anywhere between 145-150 lbs. I used to be around 145 lbs. most of my life and then I went up to around 194 and then dropped back down to my current weight. For all those women out there who are 5'8", how much do you weigh and what is your ultimate goal weight for your body type?

I am 5'8" and about 240 right now. My goal is to get between 165-185. I haven't really decided yet and am waiting to see how I feel/look at 185 to determine if I want to be 165 or not. I graduated almost 20 years ago at 165 and was always told to "eat a few cheeseburgers because you are too skinny!" Hopefully in about a year, I will be in the position that I am deciding which weight works best for me!0

I'm 5'8 and 157 at the moment, I started at 196 and my original gw was 140, but looking at myself now I'd say I only need to lose another 10 lbs!0

Hi I'm 5'8 and my starting weight was 218lbs, I'm currently 188lbs and my goal is 168lbs. Once I'm there I'll see how it looks and feels before deciding whether to shoot for 154lbs which would be my ultimate goal.0

5'8" and 149 at the moment. highest a year ago was 163. started MFP in the fall at 152 and wanting to be down between 140-1450

I'm 5'8 and tend to fluctuate between 155-160. Ideally I'd like to be 145ish, 150. That's my goal right now.0

5'8" currently 171. Want to get down to 160 and from there to 150 and maybe 140. Any lower and you can count my ribs.0

I'm 5'8". I reached a high of 193 when pregnant, but started MFP at 164. It puts me in a tight size 10, but usually a 12. Currently I'm 157. I want to be 145, which in the past has made me a loose 10.0

My goal is 140 (before kids weight) started at 160 down to 151 but i cannot tell where the weight came off yet. So I think i need to work more on toning than just weight loss.0

5'8" and started at 175lbs.
I am now 144lbs.
Goal is 135lbs but I'm finding it getting harder and harder to shift. My body just doesn't want to give them up.0 -

I originally went down to 149 and wanted to be around 145. Now I think 145 is to skinny for me, so I'm going for 149-152 this time around. Now I'm 163.0

I am in between12/14 pants. Large for shirts. I feel good in my clothes. It's when they come off I am reminded I still have a lot more work to do.
I am currently playing around with diet and exercise routine. Mixing it up. I am eating at maintenance, training for my 1st 5K, learning about carb cycling and body recomposition.
I think If I keep up with my strength training, when I get to 160 (19 more lbs) I should be happy (I hope).
With all the activity I do (5-6 days a week), I can't imagine eating below 1800 to maintain a weight less then that.
For those in the 130, 140, and 150s..... What is your caloric intake currently?0 -

I wear size 6 or 8 Jeans
I eat no less than 1200 calories a day and generally average around 1499.
I do 10 to30 minutes of yoga or barre3 a day,and a goal of 10000 steps a day.
I have been on "maintenance" or what I now call "fitness improvement" since the summer of 2013.
I use a range for goal weight because my clothes all fit in this range as well as I just fluctuate. I try to not go below 128 nor exceed 131, but if I am traveling I retain water from the different foods, as well as lose due to increased walking, etc.

I'm 5'8"
Currently at 133, goal weight 130. Would like to be in the 120s though at some point. My pants size right now is a 6 comfortably but I can wear size 4s usually. The largest I've been is probably about 150 and it really didn't look good for my body type - I carry everything in my hips/thighs0
