Hey,
I'm Cindy. I am 47, and the weight is creeping up on me. I'm not new to MFP but am trying to get back on track. I've had great success with MFP before and am hoping it will help me now. I would love to friend people who are experiencing the same thing or really anyone who wants a friend on this weight loss journey. :-) Also, I have a Fitbit, and I was wondering if anyone else has one and has it connected to MFP. If so, do you still experience as much weight loss having the extra calories added from your daily movements as you do without those extra calories? *curious*

I have a stubborn 10 lbs to lose. It's my nutritional habits that I haven't gotten a grip on yet. Sorry, I don't use a fitbit. I find the weight loss comes mostly with staying around 1700 calories (for me and my workout habits).1

Thank you for your response. I so wish I could get a grip on my nutritional habits as well. My calorie goal is 1380, but today I've eaten almost twice that much. It's easier to stay within my goal during the week when I'm working, but when the weekend rolls around...wow!!! :-) Hoping to get better.0

Hi Cindy, I know what you mean. You wake up and feel motivated but as soon as you open the fridge, you can't resist and loose your grip. There is no magic and if you want to loose weight you need to start looking at food in a different way but you also have to exercise seriously. Get a couch to 5k trading app and start to run everyday, you will be amazed by the results and it will help you so much to stay focused on your goals. Good Luck!1
