Donating my "Fat Clothes!"

So I just reached my half way goal (25 lbs lost) and I still have another 25 to go. I just tried on all of my old clothes and decided to completely get rid of my "Fat clothes." I never want to see them again!

That's wonderful.
I can't wait to donate mine!0 -
My closet was SOOO bare when I emptied out all my jeans! We have an annual community yard sale and I made 50 dollars just in $.50 to $1 clothing items! Still had a ton to give to the thrift store. Now I have nothing to wear!0

Isn't it just the best feeling. I have a bag next to my wardrobe and everytime I try something on and its to big, in the bag it goes... just means my wardrobe is looking empty.... best speak to himself for a top-up!!!:laugh:0

3 very large green lawn trash bags filled with plus size clothes---just waiting for some organization to call me--they always call me, at least once a month, but now that I wnat them to call, they are not calling me. I am about to just stick them in the trash--just to get them out of my life.0

i think you should paint all over the couple that used to be your favs ,bright red paint FAT JEANS -FAT JEANS -FAT JEANS & keep hung in your wardrobe as i reminder of your Fat jeans & how you are so never gonna wear them again ,or cut them into little bits & make a collage head board or poster to put up to remind you again of the Fat jeans ,could be a really cool work of art ----actually a head board at the end of your bed ,a nice denim mix match of cut up Fat jeans as a daily reminder never again , lol maybe just pass em on to someone else .
a big welldone to you & bye bye fat jeans0 -

Great idea. i'm now at the "roomy" stage in my fat clothes and can hear my 'thin' clothes in the loft calling to me. I need to get up there and have a look although I suspect they may be a little old fashioned. I'm hoping there's some 'timeless classics up there...
Mind you they may well have come back into fashion in a retro kind of way!
If you do make the headboard - post up a pic, would be great to see what you do with all those clothes0 -
I hear you on that! Now that I cleaned out my jean section I realized, crap, I have no jeans now haha. Not that it's a bad thing! I also don't want to buy too many jeans in the size I'm in now because I plan on going down a few more sizes still! My closet was SOOO bare when I emptied out all my jeans! We have an annual community yard sale and I made 50 dollars just in $.50 to $1 clothing items! Still had a ton to give to the thrift store. Now I have nothing to wear!0

I currently have 4 lawn/yard sized trash bags full in the guest bedroom waiting to be taken for donation. I have to find a better place to donate stuff to, the last time we donated to the 'mission' thrift store they were very very rude. They had a warehouse full of bags and boxes of stuff, and bare shelves in the retail and 'mission' areas. The donated stuff was just sitting there untouched. The only Goodwill (40 miles away) burnt down 5 years ago and they never rebuilt. Maybe I should put the stuff on Craigslist.0

I did this too! but it resulted in me having only one pair of pants left... nothing else fits! So I had to go clothes shopping and now i have a few bottoms. I thought I got rid of all of my "fat clothe", but some days I put something on that I thought would fit and it doesn't! Looks like I know where my next paycheck is going...0
