Oregon (Eugene) Friends

I'm looking for some MFP friends to support that live in my area to support on-line. It's great to have lots of MFP folks to support, but I'd also like the chance to make friends with more folks in my area of the country, as well. (58 yrs, retired teacher ~ need to lose 30 lbs) Debi

I don't live there yet, although I did live there for a few months when I was just striking out on my own. My now husband and our children are eagerly anticipating a move back to Oregon and planting roots there. I know that isn't the same, but I'm throwing it out there anyway! (Congrats on living in an AWESOME state! ;) )

I live in Eugene. I'm 50 and do daily slow walks with my dog. I eat pretty well then binge on chocolate or crackers. I know that I need more water intake. I need to balance mh sodium levels with electrolyte drinks. I don't like cooking really. I stand on my feet at work so I like to sit and lie down at home.
