How many calories should I consume??

I know every body is different, but I've been struggling lately with how much I should actualy be consuming. I've gone from 1200, to 1350, back to 1200 and now back up to 1350. But even now I'm reading and hearing I should be consuming about 1500 daily. My activity level is CrossFit 3 to 4 times a week, and my job consists of sitting at a desk all day. Any suggestions? I'm 5'5, 156 and like to get below 150. Thanks!

So 1500-1800/day

Input your information in MFP, select a 0.5lb/week loss rate. Set activity to sedentary or lightly active and log your exercise when you do it in the cardio section, eat back your exercsise calories. Do this for a month and monitor your weight's trend over time. If you are not getting the results you want then increase or decrease calories as needed. You can't always follow what you read/hear, they use over generalized numbers that may not fit you.0

Set your goal to half a pound a week, and eat that amount plus half of your exercise calories0

Thanks everyone! 1200 was clearly not where I should have been. I've since adjusted thanks to all the advice and am going to stick with 1530 for a month and see where I get. THANKS!0
