Just starting, need some advice!

Hey everyone! I'm so excited I've finally decided to start working on my weight. I'm female and I'm 20 but I'm overweight:( I am in a wedding in September so it's really a goal to lose at least some weight by then( about 30-40lbs). I really do not know where to begin. I've been excercising and eatting less junk and more fruit. I'd love advice on healthy food choices or good cardio excercises to lose weight!
