Does it pre caculate based on meeting daily goals? Does it ask you to weigh in at certain points?

It does none of that.
You weigh yourself and you input the information. As often as you'd like. It's all up to you.0 -
You decide when to tell the app your weight. You type it in.
Although lately it's been nagging me saying I haven't logged my weight in over a month, so apparently it does remind you as well.0 -
