Food scale

So I was going to wait until this weekend to pick up a food scale. But I'm impatient. So I ordered one off Amazon with overnight delivery (lol).
That being said, has anyone used the Ozeri Pronto Digital Multifunction Kitchen and Food Scale? It had good reviews. Hope it's worth it!

I THINK I overestimate what I've been eating. But I've probably been underestimating everything. Lol0

Nope. My food scale was purchased on Amazon too though. It does: grams, fluid ounces, ounces/pounds, and ml. Love it but definitely a shocker the first time I weighed my tortilla chips!0

Typically we overestimate the boring stuff and underestimate the fun stuff.0

What's "fun stuff"?
Just the things we really enjoy? Or cheat foods?0 -

I don't use butter.
Maybe peanut butter would be "fun stuff" for me. I have been measuring with a measuring spoon, but not filling it completely.0 -

Lol. Well, we will see if I OVERestimate or UNDERestimate.
I'm hoping I am OVERestimating.0 -

If you are using spoons for peanut butter...probably but here is hoping.
I know I went from 1/2lb a week loss to 1lb a week loss when I started using a food scale.
The good surprises...
1/2c of cottage cheese which is the serving size on the container is not 125g ...much less was a happy day for me.
you can get a good chunk of light cheese in 30grams esp shredded
crackers/chips are so much better weighed...
The not so nice surprises...
dry cereal makes me cry at the small serving when weighed.
potatoes or rice or pasta of any kind....

Just got my scale and tested my "eyeball" method and the tablespoon method of how I've been measuring PB.
I actually have been RIGHT ON TARGET with both methods regarding the scale.
And yes, I weighed the spoons first so I could subtract that from the total weight.
I'm impressed that I've been on target with peanut butter.
Now, as for meats, veggies, etc. That may be another story. Can't wait to start using it tonight!!!0 -

I was so impatient, I've been watching so many fitness youtubers weight their food and just had to get a scale. I stopped at Walmart and picked up the first one I saw, I so excited.
I've always been so curious how could I possibly track my macros accurately if I just eyeball everything. Bought the scale, measured dinner, breakfast & my lunch.
I think i'm obsessed(i'm sure this will fade), but I can clearly see I've underestimated my egg whites and over estimated my meats.
Have you been enjoying your scale?0
