Maybe add some protein (protein shake or protein bar) and healthy fat (eggs) to your breakfast?

I drink coffee...lots of coffee, but if you are weak and tired it may be more to do with what you're eating (or not eating) that leaves you that way. What do you have for breakfast?

I don't have a lot, I just have a belvita pack of cereal bars, it's like 3 or 4 in pack but meant to be slow release energy, otherwise, any other cereal bar.

I eat a proper breakfast. Bit of caffein peps me up when im lagging later, but its important for me to have had some complex carbs for slow energy release.

My guess would be the cereal bars aren't doing it for you. Try something different for breakfast for a few days and see if that helps. I personally need some protein along with my complex carbs...egg or peanut butter or something. I don't have a lot of time in the morning, so PB is often my go to, but if I have time in the evening I make overnight oatmeal with greek yogourt and protein powder in it or I boil up some eggs to grab and go for a few mornings.

I also have to have a mid morning snack...I wouldn't say I'm weak and tired after a few hours, but I do need to eat every few hours. Are you eating a snack part way through the morning?

Yes not a lover of peanut butter and don't have time to cook anything really, if I feel like this then I usually go and eat a snack of something sugary and it helps x

Belvita biscuits and "slow releasing carbs for more energy" is a complete scam. They try to market them for healthy, but they're just ordinary cookies, honestly. For 220 calories of cookies (pack of them) you can eat eggs and turkey breast fillet , makes a great omelette!

Grab an egg or some ham or some turkey or something with a piece of whole grain toast or bread. It'll likely take you farther than some biscuits. If something sugary makes you feel better then get your blood sugar looked at. Could just be a carb crash, but could also be blood sugar concerns going on there.

I could not agree more. You could get such a better, more well rounded and complete breakfast for the same numbers of calories. There are so many quick, make ahead, breakfast ideas out there online.

I make breakfast sandwiches, burritos and mini quiches. I wrap them in plastic wrap separately and freeze them. That way when I am on the run I can just pick out one and toss it in the microwave for 2 minutes.

I've been starting my morning off by drinking a big glass (like 16 oz) of water before I do anything. I work out in the morning, and surprisingly it really wakes me up and I don't feel as sluggish. I also have a cup of coffee, but only after having the water. Seems to help

If you don't have time to cook in the morning make some freezer burritos or sandwiches, or egg/veggie muffins to cook once and eat all week.

In addition to all the above suggestions -- how long have you been feeling weak and tired, and have you talked to your doctor?

I will try to cook some bits for breakfast. But I don't know how, and what exactly to do lol, any ideas?

Adwilliams I've been feeling like it for a while, I've been to docs, had a diabetes test, underactive thyroid test but all came back normal :( xx

Eat REAL food and drink REAL coffee
A daily vitamin might help as well

A mostly carb, sugary breakfast will do that to you. The trick is protein for breakfast. If you need to prepare your breakfast ahead to grab and eat on the way to work, hardboiled eggs can be done ahead. I like light string cheese because each stick comes in its own wrapper and is great for one-the-way eating.

Don't have time to cook in the AM? Hardboil some eggs the night before. Problem solved.

If you're tired and feeling crappy, you should take a look at your diet. Are you getting all your vitamins/minerals? Are you eating enough? Hows your sleep?

Do you have diabetes or blood sugar problems?

Hmm. What about iron levels? I was anemic for ages (I'm still iron deficient), and it makes you very fatigued. :/ I hope you can get it figured out!

This was gonna be my suggestion. I have time to cook in the morning but he does not, so once a week I'll make a batch of egg muffins (you can Google for tons of recipes) for him that last in the fridge for a week. Well, they're gone well before 7 days is up but they are good for a week, haha. But if you make those when you have time you can just grab and go. Breakfast burritos are also easy, just freeze them and microwave straight from the freezer.

my question would be, are you getting enough sleep? If I am short my normal 8-9 hours of sleep I am tired and run out of energy quickly.
    I would start there first.

This is not my meal, but just something i drink each morning. 32oz water, add in the super orange emergen-c packet, i add in 2 tsp's of fiber powder, and then 1 packet of crystal light energy (citrus flavored). I LOVE IT, and I basically haven't really been sick in about 15 months (1 minor cold which I think may have been allergies, I attribute that to the Emergen-C packet, NOT the fiber or crystal light). The energy packets from crystal light do have some caffeine in them, and it's the only caffeine I drink typically.

First thing I do is drink a glass of water. I looked up those belVita things and they're just fancy carbs. Squash - carbs. Coffee (with sugar? cream?), water and carbs.

To counteract that weakness you need protein! How about a glass of milk with a scoop of whey powder?

Start my day out with a 16oz bottle of water and 1 scoop of Mandarin Orange Spark by Advocare (I buy off amazon). It has some caffeine, carbs and vitamins. I drink 2 of them a day. With that I was able to give up my diet coke addiction and I don't drink coffee.

Then 30 mins later I eat a small paleo breakfast. That usually holds me till I have a snack around noon and lunch at 2pm(ish).

Zero Calorie Monster followed by about five glasses of water before noon.
