Tracking food with scanner

I used to be able to use my cell phone to add food but I can't any more. How do I get the bar code back on my phone?

    Did you try turning your phone completely off, waiting a bit, then turning it back on again? Also make sure your app is up to date. There was a time my scanner quit working on me for no reason but it came back to life after some tinkering.

    The Barcode scanner is a feature within the app so you don't have to download anything else.

    The app has to be allowed access to the camera.

    My camera is there what do I have to do to get it access? I mean it worked a couple months ago why would it stop now? This one of the main reasons I liked MFP's app because it is easy and can scan.

    You might need to add camera permissions. Or contact tech support. You could also try reinstalling the app to see if that resolves the issue.
