Do you have a pet that is your work out partner?

My Jack Russell, Bella, is my best friend! She works out with me, Runs with me, jumps with me. I think she has a permanent smile on her face that encourages me to keep her happy!! She is so energetic, is it almost impossible not to just be happy with her!

i wish I knew how to add a pic to these posts! (hhhmmph!)

My German Shepard Dog, Hannah is my walking partner. She's like 80 in dog years now but she walks the same pace as I did when I was recovering from breaking both my ankles. She refuses to go for walks with anyone except me - she won't even go with my husband. She reminds me that even if I don't want to go out, I really ought to, even if it just to the neighbor's driveway and back. I love my girl and wish she could still walk a mile or more with me. But since her hips are not working well, we just do the best we can.

I try to make my pet my workout partner but he is a little unwilling. I have a 100lb bullmastiff who I try to take running /walking with me but I usually end up pulling him along after the first half block. My neighbor just recently commented how all the other dogs in the neighborhood are jealous of him for all the walks he gets and all he wants to do is go back home and sleep. He's not very good for motivation but I'm very safe when I go out running at night.

Speak of the devil...He smelled lunch and just got out of bed:)
