This is one of those things that I think varies a bit between people. I tend to go carb/fiber heavy at the beginning of the day (oatmeal w/flax and almonds) and protein heavy at the end of the day (steak, chicken, etc.) with grazing throughout the day (fruit, hummus/pita, greek yogurt, hard boiled eggs, mini sandwich, etc.). This is what I've found works best for me to feel satiated. Don't be afraid to experiment to find what works for you.

protein + fat + carbohydrates (mostly fiber)
like peanut butter with fruit or whole grain crackers, cottage cheese with fruit or vegetables, or eggs scrambled with lots of veggies

Fiber heavy foods. I know that if I am going to be out and active, i do a serving and a half of Oatmeal (plain) sweetened with pure local honey, some fruit (raisins or blueberries) and a scoop of protein powder to balance it out. It ends up being about 350-400 calories, but none wasted. I am full for hours and feel great :D

Same! Oatmeal is definitely my go to food for lasting hunger satisfaction. I add blueberries, honey, or banana to mine.

I have a morning smoothie and most days I am fine until my pre-gym banana..

Spinach, cup of strawberries and banana, yogurt and almond milk.

If I eat a McDonald's bacon, egg cheese muffin 500 cals at 8am I will not feel a pang of hunger until 12:30 1pm. I rarely eat them bc I don't eat out much...but o so filling.

Some days I feel hungrier than others. When I feel hungry all the time my go-to food is lean hamburger or steak. As someone said earlier the protein/fat combo does it for me.
