Hi
So I still haven't lost my baby weight....my "baby" is going to be 5 this year. I have tried and tried....nothing seems to work I just have no will power.
Going to try counting my calories....I've tried it before and given up. How do I not give up? I need serious help

counting calories will still require will power.
you need to want it enough to stop when you reach your limit.
stay away from fad and elimination diets, cleanses, pills, and super low calorie intake.
calculate your TDEE here and eat 75-80% of that. exercise if you'd like.
here are some threads i suggest you read to get you off on a good start:

be patient, flex your will power, dont be discouraged by fluctuations, and you will succeed at this.0 -
I never believed in calorie counting until I started on here and it's really working . When your totally honest and share your diary it gives you the drive (especially if your competitive like me ) feel free to add me if you like0

What I found surprising using MFP is that it's not as hard as I always made it out to be. I used to cut calories TOO much. That was hard. Having a larger calorie goal (currently 1500 plus exercise calories, so normally around 17-1900 a day) isn't nearly as hard. I'd rather lose weight a little slower and have it feel almost effortless than burn myself out trying to lose fast.0

How do I add you? Can I share my diary on here then? I'm all new to this0

Vikki, it is so much easier to scan a package to get the calories for a meal. However, if it is homemade, all you have to do is search. There have been very few things I haven't found on the search, and for those I usually try to add the ingredients separately.0
