Hi everybody. I'm recently qualified in nutrition and a committed gym-goer. Would love to turn my passion for health and fitness into a career long term but for now just want to share my knowledge with like minded people. On the other hand would love to expand my knowledge, as I far from know it all!! Friend requests welcome, let's all get fit and healthy!

Well I am having a issue. I am falling below what I am supposed to eat in the protein area of my nutricianal requirements. Any suggestions...butttt it has to be easy to eat, can bring it to work and not that expensive.0

Yeah well you can get protein from a variety of sources but I would say meat/fish/eggs are the best sources. I currently work in an office and I prepare a chicken/tuna salad some days which is pretty easy. You can buy chicken and tuna fairly cheaply from a supermarket. You could also use these as fillings in a sandwich or if you have access to a microwave at work you can prepare meals like pasta dishes, curry and chilli at home and warm them up when you are at work. You could also take a serving of nuts to graze on through the day as they are also a source of protein but be aware of the fat content of the nuts too! Hope this is useful0
