Alcohol and calorie defecit..

I have a wedding reception to go to tonight, I've put 1100 calories in for all the wine (2 bottles MAX) so my normal limit is 1800/day, if I'm super conservative on the food I might just manage 1800 with food and that wine. The question is would that still be a weight loss deficit, or would the alcohol ruin it all ?

What he said. Eat, Drink, and celebrate the wedding. This is a one-time deal and worthy of celebration. Just move more. Get a workout in, eat before the reception (so you don't overdo it on high calorie treats), and enjoy.

days after i drink a lot i will retain a lot of water, so the scale goes up anywhere from 1-3 pounds. But it comes of in a day or 2. besides that enjoy yourself

Enjoy the wine! Remember though, try to drink water between glasses to avoid dehydration. Hangovers can make you crave all sorts of nasty food the day after!
