insanity

So my summer plan is to keep getting up like I am taking my son to school but instead workout at home for an hour then shower and go to work! I am really interested in insanity but I am not sure if I can handle it. I have the mind set that I do what I can do and at least I am working out so I won't give up if I can't do the video without a break! Any one have any suggestions on whether to do it or not?

Im doing it now. andthey suggest you go as hard as you can with proper form and to tak breaks as needed. The "warm up" alone is about 10 min and I stop about 4 mins in.0

I must say, it's a great idea to add in a workout every morning. As far as Insanity goes, I can tell you that it's pretty hard. I considered myself to be in shape when I decided to try Insanity out. I am an avid runner, and rock climber, and Insanity kicked my butt. It DOES give you a great workout though and you only work as hard as you can push yourself. The DVDs are on average about 30 to 45 minutes and if you need to take little breaks in between, the instructor encourages you to do so. I can definitally tell that my fitness level has gone up (even since what I THOUGHT was "in shape"). If you're use to working out and not worried about killing your knees (there are A LOT of quats and jumps), then I'd say "go for it!"0

I'm about to start month 2 of Insanity. Trust me, there's probably no way that you would be able to do the video without taking a break, Shaun T and the people in the video take breaks all the time, it's essential. It's definitely tough and VERY intense but I LOVE it! I burn no lower than 500 something calories in a workout. usually over 600 I believe (of course it all depends on your heart rate). I heard month 2 is way tougher but I'm excited to start! I hear that is when a lot of people see most results.0
