P90X Calories Burned and Logging in Diary

I'm starting P90X today and am not quite sure how I should track this in my exercise diary? I googled it and supposedly it burns about 600 calories per workout, so I was thinking of just tracking it as cardio and burning 500 calories (I think 600 is a little overestimated, at least at the beginning ) What did everybody else do when they did the program? Thanks!

I logged it as cardio and I did about 500 calories burned also. I wish they had the p90x work-outs as part of the database but I make it work. Good luck!0

I have a HRM and it says I burned about 520 calories doing 58 minutes of Core Synergistics yesterday. Today, I did Cardio X and I only burned 372. I started it in April, but recently took 2 weeks off. Getting back into it isn't easy, so my burn wasn't as good as it normally is. I suggest investing in a HRM so you can "Create your Exercise" on here for accurate logging.
I'm 5'9 and weigh 175lbs right now. My burn varies on my stamina.0 -
I know this is an old thread, but I did p90x chest & back, ab ripper x (day 1 classic) and burned 635 calories according to my HRM.
Cardio-wise, I'm fairly fit, but this really got my HR up into the fat burning zone and kept it there.0
