Is there such a thing as stress eating? The last two days have me in my feelings and I feel like I end up over indulging on starchy food. Now I just can't stop thinking about calories thinking that eating less will make up for over eating yesterday but that's wrong. I hate when I get in these funks. Hoping a good work out tonight will turn that around! #ItsAlmostFriday

Stress eating is absolutely a thing... I do it all the time. I am working late or trying to finish a project and start munching on something and before I know it I've eaten an entire day's worth of calories in a few hours. Then I feel ashamed that I did it and the cycle starts over...

I'm glad you realize though that starving yourself today is not the way to make up for yesterday. Just remember that every day is a new opportunity to have a great one. Hope your workout goes well tonight.

Good for you for seeing that getting into a vicious cycle does no good. Don't try to overcompensate for times you over eat. Just learn from it and leave it in the past.

Try as hard as you can to separate emotions and food. Food is nutrition and fuel for your body and to be enjoyed. Emotions need to be felt and dealt with. The sooner you separate the two the sooner you will find peace and health. Best wishes!

Thank you both! Flushed myself out with tons of tea and water throughout the day and got a phenomenal cardio workout in yesterday! and woke up feeling absolutely refreshed.. Small hiccup but at least a good start to the weekend. Happy Friday!

I'm sorry you feel stressed out. Sounds like you've done a good job getting over the small hiccup though, so be proud and feel good. :)
