When I set out using MFP in January, I set my goal weight at 230 pounds.
I have no idea what my original starting weight was... however, in November 2009, I weighed 296, and spent all of 2010 in "glutton" mode. I had been counting calories and dieting for 2 weeks whereupon I discovered MFP and statred using the food database and tracking caloric intake.
My "official" weigh- in is Monday of each week.
Today, I weighed in at 230!!
I have since decided to keep going for a few more pounds, and then convert to maintaining a weight of 225 and adding in exercise, which I hope will encourage more and more...
I have really changed my way of thinking... I don't see it as a "diet". It's a new way of living and eating. Focusing on knowing what I can eat for calorie count, and not worring about "cheat days".
All I have really done is limit "extras"... cheese, bread, sauces and gravy... butter... high calorie snacks...
I am proud of myself and know I will maintain this new outlook. I donated the fat clothes and there is no looking back...
