Weight loss after regaining is difficult

A couple of years ago I started working out and eating healthy. It resulted in about a 20 pound weight loss. I was in a happy, healthy state. Then last year I slacked off and regained that weight. I'm working on losing it all again, but the second time around is proving to be more difficult. I've been working hard for three months and am only down 10 pounds. I still have about 15 to go. Last time, I lost 20 in three months. Does anyone have advice on losing the regained weight? I read it has something to do with hormone changes. This regained weight is just so stubborn. It's really frustrating to be working this hard with little results. (No one has even commented on my weight loss, either.) advice?

You're young, so I don't think you can blame in on hormones. Possibly you're less active this time around?0

Ten pounds in three months is not too bad. Really. Enter your data into MFP and eat to the calories given. Be honest with the food you log and do not guesstimate the portion size unless you absolutely have to. Buy scales to weigh your food if you haven't done so.0

Hang in there. You're making progress, and when you look at the 5 or 10+ goal of being healthy, taking 6-9 months to get to your goal the right way is well worth it.
I would suggest that you focus on dialing in your nutrition. Weigh and measure EVERYTHING you eat. Establish an intense exercise regime. You can do it. All it takes is hard work, time, and consistency.

I'm in the same boat, gained 25-30 pounds and losing it again has been very difficult. I wish I could get back that momentum I had last time. The only change from last time and now is I take birth control now. I'm about to switch to non-hormonal to see if that helps! Good luck!0
