What exercises should I be doing to lose body fat? I'm a 21 year old woman & I weigh 221lbs

Eating in a calorie deficit and lifting

I cycle and walk at least 2 hours total a day, and mostly I don't eat all the calories that I burn during the exercise. I try to stay about 300 a day under. It's working for me. I've lost 8 kg (about 18 pounds) since mid-January. Feels good, too.

Fat loss comes from your calorie deficit not from exercise.

Cardio for heart health and to give you a higher calorie allowance.
Strength training to preserve as much muscle as possible.
Something you enjoy and will stick to for the long term.

Go to the Getting Started thread and read the sticky threads to set you off on the right path.

    No need, just eat less.
